Preferred Container	Lower respiratory in sterile, screw-cap container, Upper respiratory in viral transport (e.g. M4, M6, VTM), and SST
Optimum Volume	Lower Respiratory Specimens: 5 mL Upper Respiratory Specimens: 3 mL Serum: 0.5 mL
