Collection Instructions Fasting specimen (8 hours). Draw only at sites w/37 degree C waterbath or heating block. Prior to draw, preheat collection tube at 37 degree C for 15 minutes.
Handling Instructions Allow specimen to clot at 37 C for 1 hour. Prior to centrifugation, prewarm the centrifuge by running the centrifuge empty for 10 minutes. Separate serum, keep at room temperature, and send aliquot to the laboratory.
