Collection Instructions Keep refrigerated during collection. Do not include first morning void; collect all subsequent voidings. The last sample collected should be collected at the same time as the previous morning's first specimen. Record entire 24 Hr volume and collection time on container & requisition.
Patient should refrain from eating seafood and taking herbal supplements 48 hours prior to collection. Do not use a metal urinal or bedpan as a collection device. Avoid worksite collection.
Handling Instructions Send a well-mixed, 50 mL aliquot of specimen.
