Collection Instructions
Collect in "plastic" SST tube, Plain Red tube or EDTA (K2) tube.
Handling Instructions
Serum: Allow blood to clot at Room Temperature and centrifuge and separate serum within 2 hours of collection. Transfer to aliquot and freeze EDTA Plasma: Separate plasma from cells within 2 hours of collection. Transfer to aliquot and freeze Notate type of specimen on the aliquot tube.
