Collection Instructions CSF: Submit in sterile container (without transport media)
Sterile body fluids: For all body fluids, add an equal volume of specimen to transport medium (VCM or equivalent)
Tissue and biopsy material: Sterile screw-capped container with small amount of saline, no fixative or preservative
Requested volume is as much as possible.
Handling Instructions If transport time is >4 days, specimens must be frozen at -70 degree C and shipped on dry ice. Raw samples should only be refrigerated (NOT frozen).
