Draw full tube and send refrigerated Completed Genzyme (Integrated Genetics) requisition MUST accompany the specimen Patient MUST be collected between 10 weeks 3 days - 13 weeks 6 days by crown rump length (39mm-84mm) Reference lab will ONLY accept Nuchal Translucency (NT) measurements from certified sonographers by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) or the NT Quality Review program (NTQR). Certification must be submitted prior to submitting the first specimen.
Handling Instructions
Clot and centrifuge for 15 minutes at 1000g. This is to prevent hemolysis.
